<self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1990-86442021000500357&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1990-86442021000500357&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1990-86442021000500357&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Las edificaciones de hormigón requieren cumplir procedimientos, para su correcto desempeño, estos van desde la correcta selección del material antes de construir, hasta la supervisión tras su fundición, entre ellas está el curado, esta acción consiste en mantener una temperatura favorable para el fraguado del hormigón ya que, durante el fraguado, se eleva su temperatura. El objetivo principal de este documento es determinar los efectos de la implementación del Dióxido de Carbono (CO2) en el proceso de curado del hormigón, a través de pruebas en muestras que permitan establecer su factibilidad como método de curado. La metodología utilizada es la experimentación a través de la observación de ensayos de laboratorio que en un total de 14 muestras. La prueba del curado con CO2 aplicada en el Laboratorio &#8220;Geocimientos&#8221; se consideraron 3 fechas de rotura de 7 días cada una 310kg/cm, considerando un diámetro (mm) un Área (mm) 758, se estipuló una densidad de (Kg/m3) 2292, presenta una carga de rotura (kg) 18040, dio como resultado la resistencia a la compresión de (kg/cm2) 229.7 y (MPa) (2.5),% dio como tipo de rotura 5,la primera fase, en la segunda fase con las mismas características, cambiando la densidad a 2230 y la resistencia de 296.5, (MPa) 29.1 dio un 96%.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Concrete buildings require compliance with procedures, for their correct performance, these range from the correct selection of the material before construction, to the supervision after its casting, among them is the curing, this action consists of maintaining a favorable temperature for the setting of the concrete since, during the setting, its temperature rises. The main objective of this document is to determine the effects of the implementation of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the concrete curing process, through tests on samples that allow to establish its feasibility as a curing method. The methodology used is experimentation through observation of laboratory tests in a total of 14 samples. The CO2 curing test applied in the &#8220;Geocimientos&#8221; Laboratory considered 3 failure dates of 7 days each 310kg / cm, considering a diameter (mm) an Area (mm) 758, a density of (Kg / m3 ) 2292, presents a breaking load (kg) 18040, resulted in the compressive strength of (kg / cm2) 229.7 and (MPa) (2.5),% gave as type of rupture 5, the first phase, in the second phase with the same characteristics, changing the density to 2230 and the resistance of 296.5, (MPa) 29.1 gave 96%.]]></p></abstract>
