<self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1990-86442021000600033&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1990-86442021000600033&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1990-86442021000600033&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Dirigir una escuela es una tarea compleja que conlleva del personal directivo, el desarrollo de habilidades para la gestión escolar, al menos de las dimensiones: organizativa, pedagógico-didáctica, comunitaria y administrativa, por lo que en el deber ser, quien es nombrado director de una escuela debe tener una experiencia amplia y un perfil profesional adecuado para el desarrollo de dicha función, porque en sus manos se encuentra la responsabilidad de liderar al equipo de trabajo para garantizar el derecho a la educación de niñas, niños y adolescentes, sobre todo en los contextos más desfavorecidos e históricamente vulnerados. Sin embargo, la realidad de los docentes que se convierten en &#8220;directores comisionados&#8221;, dista de ser la &#8220;ideal&#8221; por la forma en que llegan a fungir este rol, porque generalmente son de reciente incorporación al sistema educativo y porque se da en lugares con condiciones sociales y económicas adversas. La metodología empleada corresponde con un acercamiento cualitativo inspirado en la hermenéutica, donde se empleó la narrativa como estrategia para analizar e interpretar las vivencias de un profesor comisionado como director en una escuela multigrado, técnica complementada con el uso de la entrevista en profundidad; a partir de los resultados se identifica que es necesario impulsar políticas y acciones de fortalecimiento del perfil directivo del docente comisionado, ya que si bien, el esfuerzo y desempeño realizado por este tipo de docentes-directores es enorme, una asesoría y acompañamiento adecuado, mejoraría considerablemente la calidad de la educación que se ofrece en esas escuelas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Running a school is a complex task that entails for the directive staff, the development of skills for school management, at least in the dimensions: organizational, pedagogical-didactic, community and administrative, so in the duty to be, who is appointed principal of a school must have extensive experience and a suitable professional profile for the development of this function, because in their hands is the responsibility of leading the work team to guarantee the right to education of girls, boys and adolescents, especially in the most disadvantaged and historically vulnerable contexts. However, the reality of teachers who are in "commissioned principals" is far from being "ideal" due to the way in which they perform this role, because they are generally recently incorporated into the educational system and because it occurs in places with adverse social and economic conditions. The methodology used corresponds to a qualitative approach inspired by hermeneutics, where the narrative was used as a strategy to analyze and interpret the experiences of a teacher commissioned as principal in a multigrade school, a technique complemented with the use of in-depth interviews; Based on the results, it is identified that it is necessary to promote policies and actions to strengthen the managerial profile of the commissioned teacher, since although the effort and performance made by this type of teacher-principals is enormous, adequate advice and support would improve The quality of education that is offered in these schools is considerable.]]></p></abstract>
