También, en la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras, específicamente del español como segunda lengua (EL2). Sus bases teóricas en Vigotsky y Van Dijk, propician el análisis de su dimensión sociocultural en la relación social e intercultural que se establece entre estudiantes extranjeros no hispanohablantes, que emplean la lengua española como instrumento de comunicación, con los nativos. Ello facilita un aprendizaje más natural y auténtico de la lengua española. Es, desde estas consideraciones, que se hace una valoración de la interculturalidad desde la dimensión sociocultural del ECCS.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The cognitive, communicative and sociocultural approach (CCSA) used in Cuba for language teaching has had applications in other areas, including non-philological ones, with proven results in research and also in the teaching of foreign languages, specifically Spanish as a second language (EL2). Its theoretical basis in Vigotsky and Van Dijk, favor the analysis of its sociocultural dimension in the social and intercultural relationship established between non-Spanish speaking foreign students, who use the Spanish language as an instrument of communication, and native spanish-speaking students. This facilitates a more natural and authentic learning of the Spanish language. It is from these considerations that an assessment of interculturality is made from the sociocultural dimension of the CCSA.]]></p></abstract>
