Para ello, se abordó desde el enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básica, corte transversal y diseño no experimental correlacional. La muestra estuvo constituida por 70 docentes de la UGEL N° 06 de Ate-Vitarte ubicada en Lima escogidos mediante un muestreo de tipo censal. Para la recolección de información se utilizó la encuesta y como instrumento se utilizaron dos cuestionarios tipo escala de Likert relativas a cada variable, con 32 ítems y 5 alternativas de respuestas cada uno. Los resultados descriptivos revelan en la variable competencia docente el predominio hacia el nivel medio con 62.85% (44), mientras que para la variable uso de las TIC indica un nivel alto con el 44.29% (31); la prueba de hipótesis precisó la relación entre las variables. Concluyendo que existe relación entre las variables competencia docente y el uso de las TIC (p&#8804;0,05), demostrada con un p-valor de 0.000 y coeficiente Rho de Spearman de 0.729 sugiere que dicha relación es directa alta.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The general objective of this study was to determine the relationship between teaching skills and the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in a Local Educational Management Unit (UGEL) in the city of Lima - Peru. For this, it was approached from the quantitative approach, basic type, cross section and non-experimental correlational design. The sample consisted of 70 teachers from UGEL No. 06 of Ate-Vitarte located in Lima chosen through a census-type sampling. The survey was used to collect information, and two Likert-type questionnaires related to each variable were used as an instrument, with 32 items and 5 alternative answers each. The descriptive results reveal in the teaching competence variable the predominance towards the middle level with 62.85% (44), while for the use of ICT variable it indicates a high level with 44.29% (31); the hypothesis test specified the relationship between the variables. Concluding that there is a relationship between the variables teaching competence and the use of ICT (p&#8804;0.05), demonstrated with a p-value of 0.000 and Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.729, suggests that this relationship is direct high.]]></p></abstract>
