The article presents a comparative analysis of CAT programs, considers their main and advanced functional features, and also identifies factors for improving the quality of student training in the course of integrating CAT systems into translation training. It is concluded that employing CAT systems in teaching translation leads to an increase in the quality of students' education in general since it brings the learning process closer to the working conditions of the real translation industry, orients students professionally, opens up opportunities to work with modern text formats and contents, expands students' vision of the modern market of linguistic services and the relationship of linguistics with computer technologies, improves the level of general computer literacy of students and their participation in real translation projects.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El propósito del artículo es mostrar que el uso de las capacidades funcionales de los sistemas CAT en la implementación de la traducción escrita tendrá un efecto positivo en la formación de competencias profesionales y personales contemporáneas de los estudiantes, así como en la mejora, en general, de la calidad de la formación de los estudiantes como futuros traductores. El artículo presenta un análisis comparativo de los programas CAT, considera sus características funcionales principales y avanzadas, y también identifica los factores para mejorar la calidad de la formación de los estudiantes en el curso de la integración de los sistemas CAT en la formación en traducción. Se concluye que el empleo de sistemas CAT en la enseñanza de la traducción conduce a un aumento de la calidad de la educación de los estudiantes en general ya que acerca el proceso de aprendizaje a las condiciones laborales de la industria real de la traducción, orienta a los estudiantes profesionalmente, abre oportunidades para trabajar con formatos y contenidos de texto modernos, amplía la visión de los estudiantes sobre el mercado moderno de servicios lingüísticos y la relación de la lingüística con las tecnologías informáticas, mejora el nivel de alfabetización informática general de los estudiantes y su participación en proyectos reales de traducción.]]></p></abstract>
