Las metodologías de enseñanza y aprendizaje forman parte de lo que se hoy se conoce como la innovación académica. El aprendizaje basado en proyectos (ABP) es una técnica muy conocida por las características propias, siendo la más destacada la necesidad de trabajar en equipo. En este sentido, se ha propuesto diferentes proyectos a los estudiantes del octavo ciclo de la carrera de Ingeniería Eléctrica aplicando la metodología ABP. Uno de los trabajos realizados tiene como objetivo la mejora del sistema de carga fotovoltaico y ecualización de carga de baterías de un vehículo eléctrico (VE) para aumentar la autonomía energética, mediante el desarrollo de un sistema embebido con sensores, actuadores y microcontroladores para docentes de la Universidad. Los resultados obtenidos por los estudiantes son presentados en el presente documento y expresan que el panel solar junto con una carga inicial del VE permite una autonomía de 15 km diarios de recorrido, siempre y cuando el VE permanezca estacionado y recargándose durante la jornada laboral del Docente. La implementación de esta técnica de aprendizaje permitió a los estudiantes acoplarse a problemas cotidianos que suceden en el entorno laboral o incluso personal, obteniendo resultados excelentes en la aplicación de contenidos curriculares transversales en materias como medio ambiente, energías renovables, microcontroladores, robótica, potencia, circuitos digitales y analógicos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The interest, the expectation and a positive attitude towards learning, are competences that the teacher must promote to the students in the academic world. Teaching and learning methodologies are part of what is known today as academic innovation. Project-based learning (PBL) is a well-known technique due to its own characteristics, the most prominent being the need to work as a team. In this sense, different projects have been proposed to the students of the eighth cycle of the Electrical Engineering career applying the ABP methodology. One of the works carried out has the objective of improving the photovoltaic charging system and battery charge equalization of an electric vehicle (EV) to increase energy autonomy, through the development of an embedded system with sensors, actuators and microcontrollers for teachers of University. The results obtained by the students are presented in this document and express that the solar panel together with an initial charge of the EV allows an autonomy of 15 km per day, as long as the EV remains parked and recharging during the teacher's working day. The implementation of this learning technique allowed students to engage in everyday problems that occur in the work or even personal environment, obtaining excellent results in the application of cross-curricular content in subjects such as the environment, renewable energy, microcontrollers, robotics, power, digital and analog circuits.]]></p></abstract>
