Se usó la investigación documental, los datos se recolectaron mediante un registro descriptivo y se analizaron con la técnica del análisis de contenido. El análisis bibliométrico se realiza con la búsqueda en las bases de datos académicas Scopus, Pubmed y Web of Science. El corpus del presente estudio se integró por 20 artículos (2018- 2022), investigaciones analizaron láminas celulares de origen apical para la regeneración endodóntica, incluyeron células madre derivadas del ligamento periodontal para la renovación del periodonto y evaluaron esferoides celulares que actúan en la angio/vasculogénesis y la capacidad de recuperación. Estos elementos se requieren en la formación de los estudiantes de odontología para el logro de una mayor preparación. Se propone algunas acciones a desarrollar con los estudiantes durante su proceso formativo, que fueron consideradas por ellos como promotoras de una mayor preparación en la terapia endodóntica y periodontal para la atención al paciente y su adecuado tratamiento.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The research pursued to analyze how the applications of the advances of Modular Tissue Engineering in Regenerative Dentistry, requires to be part of the actions that are carried out with students of dental sciences during their educational teaching process. Documentary research was used, the data was collected through a descriptive record and analyzed with the content analysis technique. The bibliometric analysis is carried out by searching the academic databases Scopus, Pubmed and Web of Science. The corpus of the present study was integrated by 20 articles (2018-2022), investigations analyzed cell sheets of apical origin for endodontic regeneration, included stem cells derived from the periodontal ligament for periodontal renewal and evaluated cellular spheroids that act in angio/ vasculogenesis and recovery capacity. These elements are required in the training of dental students to achieve greater preparation. Some actions are proposed to be developed with students during their training process, which were considered by them as promoters of greater preparation in endodontic and periodontal therapy for patient care and proper treatment.]]></p></abstract>
