La demanda internacional de P. peruviana ha aumentado en los últimos años debido a sus valores medicinales y nutricionales. Sin embargo, los estudios sobre la diversidad genética de este fitorecurso en Perú son escasos. En este contexto, el objetivo de este trabajo fue determinar la diversidad genética mediante cinco marcadores microsatélites (SSR) (SSR11, SSR138, SSR15, SSR123 y SSR146) en tres poblaciones cultivadas procedentes de Ayacucho (2 761 msnm), Cajamarca (2 750 msnm) y La Libertad (3 099 msnm). Se encontró un valor medio de Fst = 0.307, además el AMOVA indicó que el mayor porcentaje de variación se encontraba dentro de los individuos (74.5%) y solo un 25.5% entre las poblaciones. Por otro lado, se encontró un valor medio de He=0.722 y los valores PIC encontrados para cada marcador fueron 0.567 para SSR146, 0.603 para SSR138, 0.656 para SSR11, 0.707 para SSR15 y 0.845 para SSR123. Los valores Fst mostraron una alta diferencia genética y el análisis de varianza molecular mostró un bajo porcentaje de variación entre las poblaciones, lo cual evidenció una misma unidad genética, no estructurada.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Physalis peruviana L. is a native plant from the Andean region and belongs to the Solanaceae family. The international demand of P. peruviana has increased in recent years due to its medical and nutritional values. However, there are not enough studies on its genetic diversity in Perú. In this scenario, the objective of this work is to determine the genetic diversity of three cultivated populations from Ayacucho (2 761 masl), Cajamarca (2 750 masl), and La Libertad (3 099 masl) using five microsatellite (SSR) markers (SSR11, SSR138, SSR15, SSR123 and SSR146). A mean value of Fst = 0.307 was found, in addition the AMOVA indicated that the highest percentage of variation was found within individuals (74.5%) and only 25.5% among populations. On the other hand, a mean value of He = 0.722 was found and the PIC values for each marker were 0.567 for SSR146, 0.603 for SSR138, 0.656 for SSR11, 0.707 for SSR15 and 0.845 for SSR123. The Fst values showed a great genetic difference and the AMOVA test showed a low percentage of variation among populations, which shows the same unstructured genetic unit.]]></p></abstract>
