<self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2079-34802018000200215&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2079-34802018000200215&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2079-34802018000200215&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In order to characterize the bromatological composition of three agricultural wastes: maize (Zea mays), sorghum (Sorghum sp.) and chickpea (Cicer arietinum) in Sinaloa state, Mexico, selected for their possibilities of use in ruminants feeding, was determined to the samples (n = 21) of these by-products the percentage of crude protein, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber, hemicellulose and cellular content. The crude protein, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber and cellular content showed differences (P &#706; 0.0001) between treatments, while hemicellulose was similar in the three agricultural wastes. The obtained results show that the chickpea waste has a better chemical composition than the rest. They also suggest performing physiological tests on ruminants to determine the inclusion levels and potential use of wastes, in order to determine their nutritional value.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Para caracterizar la composición bromatológica de tres esquilmos agrícolas: maíz (Zea mays), sorgo (Sorghum sp.) y garbanzo (Cicer arietinum) en el estado de Sinaloa, México, seleccionados por sus posibilidades de uso en la alimentación de rumiantes, se determinó a las muestras (n=21) de estos subproductos el porcentaje de proteína bruta, fibra detergente neutro, fibra detergente ácido, hemicelulosa y contenido celular. La proteína bruta, fibra detergente neutro, fibra detergente ácido y contenido celular presentaron diferencias (P&#706; 0.0001) entre los tratamientos, mientras que la hemicelulosa fue similar en los tres esquilmos agrícolas. Los resultados obtenidos indican que el esquilmo de garbanzo tiene mejor composición química que los restantes. Sugieren además, realizar pruebas fisiológicas en rumiantes para determinar los niveles de inclusión y potencial de uso de los esquimos, con el propósito de determinar su valor nutritivo.]]></p></abstract>
