Para ello el estudio se basa fundamentalmente en la reducción del exceso de aire mediante la propuesta de quema en parrilla del bagazo integral como combustible base, combinada con la quema en quemadores rotatorios diseñados a partir de la tecnología de las secciones de paso en rotación de una biomasa seca y pulverizada. Ello permitiría una mayor flexibilidad operacional con una alta estabilidad del proceso de combustión en el horno, lo que trae consigo un incremento en la eficiencia de la caldera por concepto de reducción de las pérdidas de calor en los gases de salida, con un costo de inversión relativamente bajo. Además, la tecnología permite el uso de diversas biomasas pulverizadas como en el caso de los RACs o en el caso de los derivados el meollo]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The present investigation has been carried out with the objective to develop a methodology to evaluate the biomass co / combustion process whose purpose is to increase the efficiency of the RETAL type boilers used in the Cuban sugar mills. This study is based fundamentally on the reduction of the excess of air by means of the proposal of burning in grate of the integral bagasse like fuel base, combined with the burning in rotary burners designed from the technology of the sections of step in rotation of a dry and pulverized biomass. This would allow a greater operational flexibility with a high stability of the combustion process in the furnace, which brings it with an increase in the efficiency of the boiler by reducing the heat losses in the exhaust gases, with an investment cost relatively low. In addition, the technology allows the use of various pulverized biomass as in the case of RACs or in the case of derivatives of the core.]]></p></abstract>
