La presente investigación busca conocer la relación y el grado de correlación entre la Innovación de Gestión Empresarial y el Éxito Competitivo Empresarial en el ámbito de las medianas y grandes empresas del sector manufacturero de Arequipa Metropolitana. Bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo-correlacional, y mediante una encuesta con 43 ítem aplicados a funcionarios de 37 empresas, medianas y grandes, del sector manufacturero en la ciudad de Arequipa (Perú), se evidenció una correlación alta entre innovación de gestión empresarial y éxito competitivo (0.783), correlación significativa de 0.776 entre la dimensión innovación de producto y éxito competitivo empresarial, correlación significativa de 0.779 entre la dimensión innovación de procesos y el éxito competitivo empresarial, correlación de grado moderado (0.556) entre la innovación de mercadotecnia y el éxito competitivo empresarial y correlación 0.605 entre la dimensión innovación de organización y el éxito competitivo empresarial.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Innovation from a global point of view allows to establish strategic objectives in the medium and long term; however, it is important to identify the dimensions or elements in which the organization needs to innovate in order to optimize resources and that really shows a contribution in the sustainability of the company. The present investigation seeks to know the relationship and the degree of correlation between the Innovation of Business Management and the Competitive Business Success in the field of medium and large companies in the manufacturing sector of Metropolitan Arequipa. Under the quantitative, descriptive-correlational approach, and through a survey with 43 items applied to managers of 37 companies, medium and large, of the manufacturing sector in the city of Arequipa (Peru), there was a high correlation between business management innovation and competitive success (0.783), significant correlation of 0.776 between the dimension of product innovation and business competitive success, significant correlation of 0.779 between the dimension of innovation of processes and business competitive success, moderate degree correlation (0.556) between marketing innovation and the competitive business success and 0.605 correlation between the organizational innovation dimension and the competitive business success.]]></p></abstract>
