Se desarrollaron y probaron cinco ítems de definiciones operativas de las dimensiones entre una muestra de gerencia y empleados operativos. La investigación se basó en el modelo multidimensional de compromiso organizacional. Los resultados de la revisión son consistentes con las teorías actuales del clima organizacional y pueden ser útiles para evaluar el clima. Este estudio explora si y en qué medida el ambiente de trabajo puede contribuir a la calidad del desempeño de los empleados operativos públicos del distrito. Los análisis se centran en buscar referencias teóricas que luego armonicen una investigación correlacional entre ambas variables. Los hallazgos sugieren direcciones prometedoras para el diseño de modelos teóricos que se basaron en objetivos tales como describir las percepciones de la cultura organizacional y la prevalencia de comportamientos de ciudadanía organizacional entre los empleados, determinar los aspectos fenomenológicos más fuertes y problemáticos en el área investigada y evaluar las propiedades psicométricas de medidas para la cultura organizacional y luego identificar cualquier relación entre la cultura organizacional y el desempeño de la ciudadanía organizacional.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The article makes an exhaustive review of the literature on the organizational environment which resulted in the identification of eight dimensions of the organizational environment that could be used within public companies called education districts. Five items of operational definitions of the dimensions between a sample of management and operational employees were developed and tested. The research was based on the multidimensional model of organizational commitment. The results of the review are consistent with current organizational environment theories and may be useful for assessing the environment. This study explores whether and to what extent the work environment can contribute to the quality of performance of the district's public operational employees. The analysis focuses on looking for theoretical references that harmonize a correlational investigation between both variables. The findings suggest promising directions for the design of theoretical models that were based on objectives such as describing perceptions of organizational culture and the prevalence of organizational citizenship behaviors among employees, determining the strongest and most problematic phenomenological aspects in the investigated area and evaluating the psychometric properties of measures for organizational culture and then identifying any relationship between organizational culture and the performance of organizational citizenship.]]></p></abstract>
