Este producto se procesa en la planta y se almacena en tanques de intermedio, donde el fluido reposa luego de la refinación. En teoría la bomba inicial instalada HK 65/35-70 con la variante de impelente 1a es capaz de vencer la carga del sistema y entregar el flujo demandado (60 m3/h), pero en la práctica el caudal fue mucho menor de 40 a 50 m3/h. Se realizan ajustes en el sistema con la conexión de una segunda succión, logrando elevar el flujo hasta la demanda, pero bruscas caídas de presión en condiciones críticas, obligan a utilizar métodos de regulación ineficientes provocando caídas de flujo entre 42 a 47 m3/h. En el estudio queda demostrado que las caídas de presión en la succión están provocadas por el fenómeno de cavitación en esta condición crítica y que para satisfacer la demanda de la planta es necesario sustituir la bomba por la HK 65/35-125 con el impelente 1B con un motor de 40 kW de 3530 rpm además eliminar una de las succiones.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Among the products of the refinement in the refinery of Cienfuegos is the turbo fuel Jet A1, used in several air terminals of the country. This product is processed in the plant and it is stored in intermission tanks, where the fluid rests after the refinement. Then, it is needed to send the fluid from the intermission tanks until the tanks of final storage to reason of 60 m3/h to maintain the production flow. In theory, the installed initial machinery, the bomb HK 65/35-70 with the variant of forcing are able to conquer the load of the system and to give the demanded flow, but in the practice the flow went a lot smaller than 40 to 50 m3/h. they are carried out adjustments in the system with the connection of a second suction, being able to elevate the flow until the demand, but abrupt falls of pressure under critical conditions, they force to use inefficient regulation methods causing fallen of flow among 42 to 47 m3/h, while under less adverse conditions flows have been reached of up to 63 m3/h. In the study, it is demonstrated that the falls of pressure in the suction are caused by the cavitation in this critical condition and that to satisfy the demand of the plant it is necessary to substitute the bomb for the HK 65/35-125 with the forcing one 1B with a motor of 40 kW of 3530 rpm also to eliminate one of the suctions.]]></p></abstract>
