La estrategia fue aplicada por profesores de la Facultad de Ciencias Matemáticas y Físicas de la Universidad de Guayaquil, en la impartición de asignaturas de las ciencias matemáticas de las carreras de Ingeniería de Software e Ingeniería en Networking y Telecomunicaciones. A través de pruebas estadísticas de comparación de medias y no paramétricas de bondad de ajuste, se obtuvo que la estrategia tiene un efecto positivo notable en los resultados académicos y su desarrollo de competencias profesionales y no tanto en la motivación de los estudiantes. Se comprobó un nivel de satisfacción alto por parte de los profesores que aplicaron la estrategia, los cuales aportaron sugerencias para su perfeccionamiento.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This research proposes a methodological strategy for the coherent implementation of mathematical software in engineering careers based on the integration of the assimilation of mathematical content with the solution of problems specific to the profession. The strategy was applied by professors of the Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences of the University of Guayaquil, in the teaching of subjects of the mathematical sciences of the Software Engineering and Engineering in Networking and Telecommunications careers. Through statistical tests of comparison of means and non-parametrics of goodness of fit, it was obtained that the strategy has a remarkable positive effect in the academic results and its development of professional competences and not so much in the motivation of the students. A high level of satisfaction was verified on the part of the teachers who applied the strategy, who provided suggestions for its improvement.]]></p></abstract>
