Social skills are of great importance for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and all individuals with special needs. This research investigates the effectiveness of the creative drama method in the development of social skills of children with ASD. The mixed-method research was preferred in the study, and a sequential transformative design was used as a sub-design. The research participants consisted of 4 students with ASD aged 8-11 and 8 teachers. It was suggested in the findings that there was a positive significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results of the scale used. When the checklist results were examined, it was indicated that the students increased their scores towards the last sessions. When the qualitative data were compared with the scale’s pre-test and post-test results, it was found out that the results were parallel, and the quantitative data supported the qualitative data. As a result of the research, it was seen that the creative drama method was effective in the development of existing social skills and in acquiring new social skills of students with ASD.
</abstract>

</abstract>
