Mientras que hace años imperaban los enfoques en los que se resaltaba la figura del profesor como transmisor de conocimientos, actualmente ya existe una variedad de propuestas para la enseñanza de la traducción, en las que los estudiantes desempeñan el papel más importante. Una de esas propuestas es el enfoque por tareas, el cual surgió en la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras pero que ha tenido gran recepción entre los docentes que imparten la traducción. Este es un enfoque cuyas características representan beneficios para la formación de traductores y que se puede aplicar, especialmente en los niveles iniciales. En este trabajo se hace referencia, primeramente, al enfoque por tareas en la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras y, posteriormente, se abordarán las características de este en la enseñanza de la traducción.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Translation didactics has undergone a process of transformation. While years ago, approaches that emphasized the role of the teacher as a transmitter of knowledge prevailed, there are now a variety of proposals for teaching translation, in which students play the most important role. One of these proposals is the task-based approach, which emerged in the teaching of foreign languages but has been very well received by teachers of translation. This is an approach whose characteristics represent benefits for translator training and which can be applied, especially at the initial levels. In this paper, reference is made, first, to the task-based approach in foreign language teaching and, subsequently, the characteristics of this approach in the teaching of translation will be discussed.]]></p></abstract>
