Se realizó una valoración de las características de este tipo de máquinas, del propio ensayo de tracción, así como de las propiedades de los materiales a ensayar, y de este modo proponer el diseño correspondiente. En la propuesta del diseño, el cual se ejecutó utilizando el software Autodesk Inventor 2018, se tuvo en cuenta, además, que se requiere de una máquina que permita la realización del ensayo a probetas de materiales biológicos bajo condiciones de biodegradación. Una vez definido el diseño de cada uno de los elementos mecánicos, se realizó la validación de los mismos a través de una simulación de las condiciones de carga reales por el Método de los Elementos Finitos con el software comercial Ansys Workbench 16.0 (Canonsburg, PA, USA). El trabajo culminó con la construcción de la máquina de ensayo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT In the present work, the design and manufacture of a horizontal machine was carried out, for the tensile test of low loads in biomaterials, which will be used for Tissue Engineering (IT), mainly natural and synthetic polymers. It was made an assessment of the characteristics of this type of machines, the tensile test itself, as well as the properties of the materials to be tested, and thus make the correct decisions to make the corresponding design. In the design proposal, which was executed using Autodesk Inventor 2018 software, it was also taken into account that a machine is required that allows the testing of biological materials to be tested under biodegradation conditions. Once the design of each of the mechanical elements was defined, their validation was carried out through a simulation of the real load conditions by the Finite Element Method with the commercial software Ansys Workbench 16.0 (Canonsburg, PA, USES). The work culminated in the construction of the tensile testing machine.]]></p></abstract>
