Teniendo en cuenta que el portador energético que más se consume en estos hoteles es la electricidad (más del 90%), se evaluaron indicadores relacionados con el consumo de este portador. Para ello se utilizaron datos de consumo eléctrico general y de habitaciones-día ocupados (HDO) por mes en dichos hoteles, durante dos años consecutivos. También se utilizaron los datos de temperatura de bulbo seco media diaria, tomados de la estación meteorológica de Varadero de esos años. A partir de los datos anteriores se determinó la temperatura base, los días grado de enfriamiento (DGE) y la línea base de consumo eléctrico en dichos hoteles en función de la variable combinada (HDG). Entonces se determinaron dos indicadores de desempeño energético, a saber: Índice de consumo de electricidad general (kWh/HDG), Energía no asociada al servicio (%), se determinaron dos modos de reportar el desempeño energético: gráfico de varianza de energía calculada/energía real (%) y tendencia (CUSUM) de la varianza de energía (kWh), comprobándose que son factibles de utilizarse y demostrándose el sobreconsumo existente en algunos hoteles.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This work was carried out in a group of 10 hotels located in the Varadero resort. Considering that the energy carrier that is most consumed in these hotels is electricity (more than 90%), indicators related to the consumption of this carrier were evaluated. For this, data on general electricity consumption and occupied rooms-day (HDO) per month in these hotels were used, for two consecutive years. The daily mean dry bulb temperature data, taken from the Varadero meteorological station of those years, were also used. From the previous data, the base temperature, cooling degree days (DGE) and the base line of electricity consumption in said hotels were determined based on the combined variable (HDG). Then two energy performance indicators were determined, namely: General electricity consumption index (kWh / RDD) and Energy not associated with the service (%), two ways of reporting energy performance were also determined: Variance graph of target energy/actual energy (%) and trend (CUSUM) of energy variance (kWh), verifying that they are feasible to use and demonstrating the existing overconsumption in some hotels.]]></p></abstract>
