Esta no ha sido estudiada en el béisbol femenino cubano. A partir del entrenamiento de las beisbolistas de primera categoría del equipo de Holguín para participar en el Torneo Zonal Oriental 2021, se ha investigado la referida métrica.  Objetivo:  determinar la relación entre la potencia del swing y la velocidad de salida, así como entre estas y el average ofensivo resultado de topes de confrontación.  Materiales y métodos:  las mediciones de la velocidad y el tiempo de ejecución del swing se realizaron con ayuda de un soporte de bateo y una pistola Sony.  Resultados:  a partir de dos modelos físico-matemáticos simples, se dedujeron expresiones para la trayectoria de la pelota bateada y la potencia del swing, y a la vez, se diseñó un conjunto de ejercicios con pesos para incrementar la fuerza explosiva.  Conclusiones:  los métodos de regresión y de correlación permitieron inferir la adecuación de una relación funcional lineal y la existencia de una correlación positiva entre la potencia y la velocidad de salida y una correlación lineal más fuerte del mismo signo entre el average y la velocidad de salida y el average y la potencia del swing, una vez aplicado el conjunto de ejercicios.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO  Introdução:  a velocidade de saída é considerada uma das métricas mais importantes. Isso não foi estudado no beisebol feminino cubano. A partir do treinamento dos jogadores de beisebol de primeira classe da equipe de Holguín para participar do Torneio da Zona Leste de 2021, a métrica mencionada foi investigada.  Objetivo:  determinar a relação entre a potência do swing e a velocidade de saída, bem como entre estas e a média ofensiva resultante das paradas de confronto.  Materiais e Métodos:  As medições da velocidade do swing e do tempo de execução foram feitas com o auxílio de um bastidor e uma pistola Sony.  Resultados:  A partir de dois modelos físico-matemáticos simples, foram deduzidas expressões para a trajetória da bola rebatida e a potência do swing e, ao mesmo tempo, foi projetado um conjunto de exercícios com pesos para aumentar a força explosiva.  Conclusões:  os métodos de regressão e correlação permitiram inferir a adequação de uma relação funcional linear e a existência de uma correlação positiva entre potência e velocidade inicial e uma correlação linear mais forte de mesmo sinal entre média e velocidade inicial e média e potência do balanço, uma vez aplicado o conjunto de exercícios.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT  Introduction:  Post-impact ball speed is one of the most important metrics in baseball; however, in Cuba, the women's baseball has not conducted studies in this area. In the training of the first-category women baseball players in Holguin, for the Eastern Tournament, 2021, this issue was examined.  Aim:  To determine the relation between swing power and post-impact speed and between them and the batting average recorded in training matches.  Materials and methods:  Speed measurements and swing time were performed using a batting tee and a Sony speed gun.  Results:  Two simple physical-mathematical models were used to estimate the trajectory of the ball hit and swing power, and a set of weight exercises was designed to increase explosive strength.  Conclusions:  The regression and correlation methods permitted the estimation of the adjustment of a functional-linear ratio, the existence of a positive correlation between swing power and exit speed, and a much stronger linear correlation of the same sign between the batting average and the exit speed and batting average, and swing power, following the implementation of the exercise set.]]></p></abstract>
