Se utilizaron el método Delphy para la evaluación de los expertos y las técnicas multicriterio para seleccionar los escenarios relevantes. Se seleccionaron siete expertos con nivel de competencia medio y alto. Los criterios de mayor peso fueron: Potencial Existente; Demanda Energética, Prioridad y Daños Ambientales. Se pudo comprobar que el escenario de mayor relevancia consume el 14% de la electricidad, y cuenta con el 39% del potencial FRE del municipio. A pesar de la menor relevancia de otros escenarios, sus potencialidades FRE deben analizarse puntualmente ya que alcanzan valores mínimos de 1110 toneladas equivalentes de petróleo por año.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Relevant scenarios for Renewable Energy Resources (RER) use were identified in this work in La Sierpe municipality, Sancti Spíritus province, Cuba. Delphy methodology for expert evaluation, as well as multicriteria techniques to select the relevant scenarios were used. Seven experts with high to medium competence level were selected. The criteria Existent Potential, Energetic Demand, Priority and Environmental Damage showed the highest weigh. The scenario with the highest relevance consumed 14% of the electricity, having 39% of the Municipality RER potential. Despite the lower relevance of some scenarios, they should be locally analyzed as they reported minimum values of 1110 tons of oil equivalent per year.]]></p></abstract>
