El estudio desarrollado demuestra que el hongo Trichoderma harzianum Rifai (A-34) tiene la capacidad de degradar múltiples compuestos. A partir de la masa micelial obtenida se realizó la incubación del hongo en condiciones de temperatura y agitación adecuadas, por un período de 24h. El agente reductor biológico (ARB) producido por el hongo Trichoderma harzianum Rifai (A-34) contiene ácidos orgánicos. Dentro de estos ácidos, la mayor concentración es de ácido cítrico(C&#8326;H&#8328;O&#8327;), el cual resulta muy efectivo como agente lixiviante. Se evaluó el efecto de la temperatura durante el proceso de bioextracción a 25 y 50 oC en 40 g de cola filtrada durante 20 días. El contenido de especies metálicas en el licor lixiviado obtenido en los experimentos de bioextracción en las colas es superior cuando se emplea una concentración de ARB de 100 % y temperatura de 50 °C. El incremento de la temperaturaprovoca la disminución del pH y modifica la actividad de los iones de la solución. El medio más ácido favorece la lixiviabilidad en las colas filtradas objeto de estudio.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT In the present investigation, a study was carried out on the use of microorganisms for the bioextraction of metallic species contained in the filtered tails, the main solid residue of the acid nickel extracting process. The developed study shows that fungus Trichoderma harzianum Rifai (A-34) has the ability to degrade multiple compounds. From the mycelial mass obtained, the incubation of the fungus was carried out under adequate temperature and agitation conditions, for a period of 24 hours. The biological reducing agent (ARB) produced by the fungus TrichodermaharzianumRifai (A-34) contains organic acids. Among this acids, citric acid (C&#8326;H&#8328;O&#8327;) has the higher concentration, which is more effective as a leaching agent. The effect of temperature was evaluated during the bioextraction process at 25 and 50 °C in 40g of filtered glue for 20 days. The content of metallic species in the leached liquor obtained from the bioextraction experiments in the tailings process is higher than the ARB concentration of 100 % at a temperature of 50°C, due to the increase in temperature, which causes the decrease in pH by modifying the activity of the ions in the solution, making the medium more acidic, thus favoring leachability in the filtered tailings under study.]]></p></abstract>
