La selección y capacitación del personal constituye un área clave en las empresas que dedican tiempo y recursos en su formación. Para lograr captar profesionales altamente capacitados las empresas aceden a las instituciones de educación que tienen como objetivo formar profesionales con habilidades y capacidades acordes con los cambios que se producen en la industria. Las universidades deben, articular la creatividad y la innovación en el desarrollo de las habilidades necesarias en los estudiantes durante su formación para solucionar las problemáticas complejas reales que se presentan en los diferentes ámbitos de la vida. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo desarrollar el componente de evaluación de las competencias profesionales de los egresados en la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas (UCI). Para identificar y potenciar las competencias profesionales se desarrolló un componte de evaluación que analiza los perfiles de los usuarios para determinar su nivel de competencia. El componte desarrollado fue validado mediante métodos científicos que permitieron comprobar la pertinencia y aplicabilidad en la evaluación de competencias profesionales.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Technological advancement creates a challenge for companies that need to have trained personnel who have the necessary skills to obtain products or provide services with high quality. The selection and training of personnel constitutes a key area in companies that dedicate time and resources to their training. To attract highly trained professionals, companies access educational institutions that aim to train professionals with skills and abilities in line with the changes that occur in the industry. Universities must articulate creativity and innovation in the development of the necessary skills in students during their training to solve real complex problems that arise in different areas of life. The objective of this work is to develop the evaluation component of the professional competencies of graduates at the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI). To identify and enhance professional competencies, an evaluation component was developed that analyzes user profiles to determine their level of competency. The developed component was validated using scientific methods that made it possible to verify its relevance and applicability in the evaluation of professional competencies.]]></p></abstract>
