Métodos y técnicas: Histórico-lógico, permitió conocer la evolución y desarrollo de la conceptualización de la flexibilidad organizacional dentro del contexto empresarial. El método estadístico-matemático, el de análisis y síntesis de la compilación bibliográfica y documental e inductivo-deductivo para la determinación de los indicadores de evaluación y su adaptación. Además, se emplearon técnicas como los estudios descriptivos y los cuestionarios estructurados.  Principales resultados:  Se logra definir un instrumento, evaluado por expertos, contextualizado a la realidad y legalidad cubana para la medición del nivel de flexibilidad organizacional de una empresa a partir de dimensiones e indicadores; lo que permite identificar qué factores de la flexibilidad organizacional se deben cambiar o reforzar para mejorar el desempeño organizacional en general.  Conclusiones:  Las variables propuestas permiten evaluar la flexibilidad organizacional a partir de la adaptación y contextualización de experiencias internacionales a las características del sistema empresarial cubano.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT  Objective:  To propose an instrument for the evaluation of organizational flexibility adapted to the characteristics of the Cuban entrepreneurial system.  Methods and techniques:  Historical-logical method that allowed knowing the evolution and development of the conceptualization of organizational flexibility within the entrepreneurial context. The statistical-mathematical method, that of analysis and synthesis of the bibliographical and documentary compilation and inductive-deductive for the determination of the evaluation indicators and their adaptation. In addition, techniques such as descriptive studies and structured questionnaires were used.  Main results: It is possible to define an instrument, evaluated by experts, contextualized to Cuban reality and legality for measuring the level of organizational flexibility of a company based on dimensions and indicators; which allows us to identify which factors of organizational flexibility must be changed or reinforced to improve organizational performance in general.  Conclusions:  The proposed variables allow evaluating organizational flexibility based on the adaptation and contextualization of international experiences to the characteristics of the Cuban business system.]]></p></abstract>
