La estadística contiene los datos del proyecto de la NOAA, denominado COSTWATCH, que calcula la corriente marina geostrófica a partir de valores de altimetría. La descarga fue automatizada para reducir errores subjetivos y por medio de programas, diseñados por los autores (en lenguaje Python, con el IDE Pycharm Community 2019) se homogeneizó la población de datos. Se obtuvieron los promedios mensuales y se realizaron análisis dinámicos de cada uno, en armonía con los estudios previos. Adicionalmente, se profundizó en la tendencia de la magnitud de las corrientes marinas superficiales, identificando las principales zonas que experimentan cambios, así como las posibles explicaciones de cada hecho.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The work begins with an analysis of the background of the topic, from expeditions and diagnoses carried out by multiple institutions in the region. The statistic contains the data of the NOAA project, called COSTWATCH, which calculates the geostrophic marine current from altimetry values. The download was automated to reduce subjective errors and through programs, designed by the authors (in Python language, with the IDE Pycharm Community 2019) the data population was homogenized. The monthly averages were obtained and dynamic analyzes of each one were carried out, in harmony with the studies carried out. Additionally, the trend of the magnitude of surface marine currents was inquired, identifying the main areas undergoing changes, as well as the possible explanations for each event.]]></p></abstract>
