Sumado a esto cabe resaltar que la aparición de la COVID-19 aporta mayor complejidad a este escenario y exige la incorporación de novedosas estrategias que permitan la formación integral de los alumnos-atletas. El propósito del presente material es tributar al perfeccionamiento de la formación integral de los estudiantes-atletas de la EIDE &#8220;Ormani Arenado&#8221;, mediante la implementación de herramientas de orientación psicopedagógica que favorezcan su óptimo aprovechamiento académico y deportivo. Se condujo un diagnóstico de las condiciones bajo las cuales se lleva a cabo el proceso de orientación psicopedagógica a estos estudiantes en la modalidad de docencia-entrenamiento a distancia. Del estudio se deriva la necesidad de implementar herramientas de orientación psicopedagógica atemperadas a condiciones de aislamiento social impuesto por la contingencia sanitaria.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT In the student-athlete training process, the harmonization of teaching with highly competitive sports practice represents a challenge for educational institutions. In addition to this, it should be noted that the appearance of the new coronavirus, COVID -19, brings greater complexity to this scenario and requires the incorporation of novel strategies that allow the integral formation of student-athletes. The purpose of this material is to contribute to the improvement of the integral formation of the EIDE &#8220;Ormani Arenado&#8221; student-athletes, through the implementation of psychopedagogical guidance tools that promote their optimal academic and sports performance. A diagnosis of the conditions under which the psychopedagogical orientation process is carried out for these students was conducted in the distance teaching-training modality. The study derives the need to implement psychopedagogical guidance tools tempered by conditions of social isolation imposed by a health contingency.]]></p></abstract>
