En Brasil, la formación médica representa un gran desafío para la consolidación de la Atención Primaria de Salud en el contexto del Sistema de Salud.  Objetivo:  Evaluar la formación médica en la Atención Primaria de Salud en una Universidad de Bahía/Brasil, a partir de procesos de trabajo interactivo entre academia, servicios de salud y comunidad.  Métodos:  Estudio de caso cualitativo, que utilizó los presupuestos de la Evaluación de Cuarta Generación. Los grupos de interés fueron los estudiantes, profesores, trabajadores de salud y usuarios del sistema de salud que formaban parte del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de las Prácticas para la Integración de Educación, Servicio y Comunidad. A partir de la observación de las actividades pedagógicas, la lectura de documentos y la entrevista semiestructurada, y con la aplicación del Círculo Hermenéutico Dialéctico y la Negociación, se analizó la realidad empírica siguiendo el referencial de la hermenéutica-dialéctica.  Resultados:  Los participantes demostraron comprensión de la atención primaria, así como del perfil médico para actuar a este nivel de atención. Las Prácticas para la Integración de Educación, Servicio y Comunidad necesitan fortalecer los vínculos institucionales para mejorar la formación interprofesional y el trabajo en equipo. Existe la necesidad de ampliar los espacios de formación en la Atención Primaria de Salud en toda la carrera.  Conclusiones:  Se considera necesaria la rediscusión del Proyecto Pedagógico de la carrera, para promover cambios que aproximen a todos los sujetos que forman parte del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, con el fin de fortalecer la formación en la Atención Primaria de Salud.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT  Introduction:  The development of human resources in health should respond to the epidemiological and social needs of each country. In Brazil, medical training represents a great challenge for the consolidation of primary health care in the context of the health system.  Objective:  To assess medical training in primary health care in a University of Bahia, Brazil, based on interactive work processes involving the academy, the provision of health services and the community.  Methods:  A qualitative case study guided by the principles of fourth-generation evaluation was carried out. The groups of interest were students, professors, health workers and health system users who were part of the teaching-learning process corresponding to the students&#8217; practice for the integration of education, service and community. Based on the observation of pedagogical activities, the reading of documents and the semistructured interview, together with the application of Negotiation and the dialectical hermeneutic circle, the empirical reality was analyzed following the hermeneutic-dialectic referent.  Results:  The participants showed that they understood primary care and the medical profile to perform at this level of care. The students&#8217; practice for the integration of education, service and community need to strengthen institutional links to improve interprofessional training and teamwork. There is a need to expand training spaces in primary health care throughout the major.  Conclusions:  Rediscussing the pedagogical project of the major is considered necessary in view of promoting changes that bring closer all subjects who are part of the teaching-learning process, in order to strengthen training in primary health care.]]></p></abstract>
