Pesquisaje de AgsHB y de anti-HVC en pacientes con enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal crónica

Resumen

Se decide realizar un pesquisaje de AgsHB y anti-HVC en pacientes que padecen enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal crónica (EIIC) debido a que se ha producido un aumento en la frecuencia de presentación de esta afección. Se les realizó estos marcadores virales a 50 pacientes adultos de ambos sexos que sufren de EIIC, que acudieron a consulta externa en nuestro centro durante el año 1995, los datos se recogen mediante un modelo de encuesta. Se observó que el 10 % del grupo estudiado presentó marcadores virales positivos; todos los pacientes tenían más de 5 años de evolución, habían recibido más de 2 transfusiones y sufrido varias intervenciones, 2 pacientes fallecieron, uno por cirrosis hepática y el otro por hepatonecrosis, creemos que debe establecerse un pesquisaje sistemático en estos pacientes.

SUMMARY

An AgsHB and anti-HCV screening of patients suffering from a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (CIBD) was carried out due to an increased occurrence frequency of this disease. Viral markers were analyzed in 50 adult female and male outpatients who were affected by CIBD and went to our health center during 1995. Data were collected in a survey model. It was observed that 10 % of the studied group showed positive viral markers; all the patients had been in remission for 5 years, had been transfused more than two times and had underwent several systematic screening of these patients should be performed.
