La baja eficiencia en el uso del agua de riego en la agricultura, conlleva a la disminución de las producciones y de la rentabilidad de los procesos asociados. Una herramienta utilizada para aumentar la eficacia en estos procesos son los Indicadores de Gestión. En el presente artículo, se exponen indicadores de rendimiento, con el propósito de contribuir a optimizar el manejo del agua en los procesos agrícolas productivos de la UEB &#8220;Producción de Vegetales&#8221;, perteneciente a la Empresa Agroindustrial Ceballos provincia de Ciego de Ávila.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Water resources influence the production of agricultural food and constitute a determining factor in the vulnerability to food insecurity that the country faces, however these resources are seriously threatened as a consequence of Climate Change. The low efficiency in the use of irrigation water in agriculture leads to a decrease in production and the profitability of associated processes. A tool used to increase efficiency in these processes are Management Indicators. As a result of the investigation, a performance indicators are set out, with the purpose of contributing to optimize water management in the productive agricultural processes of the UEB "Vegetable Production", belonging to the Empresa Agroindustrial Ceballos, in the Ciego de Ávila province.]]></p></abstract>
