Aún está vigente el paradigma de la ciencia positiva, como algo que imposibilita e incapacita a los docentes para asumir que el discente debe observar y valorar la realidad tal y como es. En este orden el formador juega un rol esencial, debe dotar a sus estudiantes de la capacidad de búsqueda y asunción de un estilo propio, con sentido crítico. El mundo actual no puede ser explicado y comprendido sin una posición de análisis y crítica de los fenómenos que tienen lugar en el universo; los propios profesores deberán revisar, perfeccionar sus métodos y estilos de enseñar. Las reflexiones que se realizan en este artículo apuntan hacia esas direcciones.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The analysis is based on the need that exists in education to assume teaching and learning from a transdisciplinary approach, not from the areas of knowledge, which leads to clouding the perspective that training processes should have. The paradigm of positive science is still in force, precluding and incapacitating teachers to assume that the student must observe and value reality as it is. In this sense, the educator plays an essential role, he must provide his students with the ability to search and assume their own style, with a critical mind. The current world cannot be explained and understood without an analysis and criticism of the phenomena that take place in the universe; teachers themselves should review and improve their methods and teaching styles. Observations made in this article point towards these perspectives.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo A análise se baseia na necessidade que existe na educação cubana atual de assumir o ensino e a aprendizagem a partir de uma abordagem transdisciplinar, e não das etapas de conhecimento oferecidas pelo excesso de especialização que leva a obscurecer a visão holística que os processos de formação devem carregar. O paradigma da ciência positiva ainda vigora, com muita força, como um pesado lastro que impossibilita e incapacita os professores e se livrarem de suas posições e assumirem que o aluno deve observar e valorizar a realidade como ela é. Nesta ordem, o formador desempenha um papel essencial e tem de asumir que mais do que conhecimento, deve proporcionar aos seus alunos a capacidade de pesquisar e assumir o seu próprio estilo, com sentido crítico. O mundo atual, interligado por redes digitais que impõem, com sua enxurrada de informações, uma visão da realidade, não pode ser explicado e compreendido se a comunidade universitária não assumir uma postura de análise e crítica dos fenômenos que ocorrem no universo. É preciso transformar a forma de conceber o ensino; os próprios professores devem rever seus métodos e estilos de ensinar. As reflexões feitas neste artigo apontam para essas direções.]]></p></abstract>
