En el presente trabajo se trata la problemática de la asignación de unidades de generación, aplicado a una microrred eléctrica aislada para satisfacer la demanda estimada de los consumidores con el uso de técnicas de inteligencia artificial. Se propone un modelo de adaptabilidad con el empleo de herramientas de algoritmos genéticos, el cual es implementado con la ayuda de las estructuras de programación ofrecidas por el MATLAB en su versión 2014ª (licencia 41048478), en su Global Optimización Toolbox. La efectividad del modelo propuesto fue validada en una aplicación en el sistema eléctrico aislado del polo turístico de Cayo Coco-Cayo Guillermo, provincia Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, para la asignación de unidades generadoras en un entorno formado por varias fuentes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Nowadays, it is of utmost importance the construction and operation of generation, transmission, and distribution systems of electric energy in the most optimal and economical way possible. The present work deals with the problem of unit commitment, applied to an isolated electric microgrid to satisfy the estimated demand of the consumers with the use of artificial intelligence techniques. An adaptability model is proposed with the use of genetic algorithms tools, which is implemented with the help of the programming structures offered by MATLAB in its 2014th version (license 41048478), in its Global Optimization Toolbox. The effectiveness of the proposed model was validated in an application in the isolated electric system of the tourist pole of Cayo Coco-Cayo Guillermo, Ciego de Avila province, Cuba, for the unit commitment in an environment formed by several sources of electricity generation.]]></p></abstract>
