The traits fertility, total and live born, viability at birth and at weaning, number of weaned, litter weigh and individual at weaning were studied. Statistical analysis was performed with the SAS statistical package. The statistic general mean, coefficient of variation and standard deviation were determined. The influence of the trimester (4 classes) and the year (5 levels) was analyzed with a mixed generalized linear model, whose random effect was the breeder in each mating/ kindling. Pearson correlations were also calculated between the studied traits. It was shown that the reproductive performance of this breed was affected by the trimester (P &lt;0.05) and the year (P &lt;0.0001). The 75% of the characters showed better performance, when the mating and kindling occurred in the first trimester with respect to the third. The effect of the year showed the influence on the conditions of each year, with maximum expression in 2014. The trait live born was the most stable in time, an advantageous performance for the prolificacy of this breed. High correlations (+0.80) were found between total and live born, and between the weaned number and the litter weight. The reproductive performance of this breed is conditioned by environmental factors, so by improving its management, its productivity can be increased and a sustainable use of this zoogenetic resource can be made.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Para caracterizar el comportamiento reproductivo de la raza cunícula criolla Pardo cubano se utilizaron 7488 montas, 5876 camadas nacidas, 5601 camadas vivas y 3567 camadas destetadas, entre 2014 y 2018. Se estudiaron los rasgos fertilidad, nacidos totales y vivos, viabilidad al nacer y al destete, número de destetados, peso de la camada e individual al destete. El análisis estadístico se realizó con el paquete estadístico SAS. Se determinaron los estadígrafos media general, coeficiente de variación y desviación estándar. La influencia del trimestre (4 clases) y el año (5 niveles) se analizó con un modelo lineal generalizado mixto, cuyo efecto aleatorio fue la reproductora en cada monta/parto. También se hallaron las correlaciones de Pearson entre los rasgos estudiados. Se demostró que el comportamiento reproductivo de esta raza se afectó por el trimestre (P &lt; 0.05) y el año (P &lt; 0.0001). El 75 % de los caracteres presentaron mejor comportamiento, cuando las montas y partos se produjeron en el primer trimestre con respecto al tercero. El efecto del año dejó ver la influencia de las condiciones de cada año, con máxima expresión en el 2014. El rasgo nacidos vivos fue el más estable en el tiempo, comportamiento ventajoso para la prolificidad de este racial. Altas correlaciones (+0.80) se encontraron entre los nacidos totales y vivos, y entre el número de destetados y el peso de la camada. El comportamiento reproductivo de esta raza está condicionado por factores ambientales, por lo que al mejorar su manejo se puede incrementar su productividad y hacer un uso sostenible de este recurso zoogenético.]]></p></abstract>
