For the estimation of this compounds the content of nitrogen (N), glucose (Glu), fructose (Frut), sucrose (Suc) and the plant maturity (age) was evaluated. For the validation the difference between the observed and estimated values was established as well as the relation of them and the variability. For the relation between both values (observed and estimated) when this one is near to unit (1) and to the variability (VC). During the rainy where there were relations between estimated and observed values between 0.84 and 1.39, as well as variation coefficients between 0.01-13 %; the highest values for VC at 60 days were found in total condensed tannins, raffinose and flavonoids (6.96, 8.63 and 8.17 %), 120 days free condensed tannins and saponins (10.88 and 10.18 %), during the dry season the relation values of 0.96 to 1.07 for the studied metabolites, except for verbascose, alkaloids and total steroids which were away from the unit (1) with 0.64, 0.76 and 1.44, respectively. So, it is showed that the estimation of secondary metabolites from the multiple regression lineal models in both seasons of the year, they can be applied as result that regardless to the different criteria that exits about the biochemical paths for the synthesis of them, their precursors will be the primary metabolites because of the dependence of the content of nitrogen, glucose, fructose and sucrose, age and plant phenology.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Con el objetivo de determinar el efecto de la edad de rebrote y contenido de metabolitos primarios (nitrógeno, fructosa, glucosa y sacarosa) en la estimación de los compuestos secundarios en Tithonia diversifolia, se desarrolló el presente estudio, siguiendo un diseño en bloques al azar, con tres tratamientos (60, 120 y 180 días) y seis repeticiones. Se evaluó para la estimación de estos compuestos el contenido de nitrógeno (N), glucosa (Glu), fructosa (Frut) y sacarosa (Sac) y la madurez de la planta (edad). Para la validación se estableció la diferencia entre los valores observados y estimados, así como la relación de estos y la variabilidad. Para la relación entre ambos valores (observado y estimado), cuando esta se acerca a la unidad (1) y la variabilidad (CV). Durante la lluvia donde se encontraron relaciones entre valores estimados y observados entre 0.84 y 1.39, así como coeficientes de variación entre 0.01-13 %; los mayores valores para CV a los 60 días se encontraron en taninos condensados totales, rafinosa y Flavonoides. (6.96, 8.63 y 8.17 %), 120 días taninos condensados libres y saponinas (10.88 y 10.18 %), durante la poca lluvia los valores de relación de 0.96 a 1.07 para los metabolitos estudiados, excepto para verbascosa, alcaloidesaloides y esteroides totales que estuvieron más alejados de la unidad (1) con 0.64, 0.76 y 1.44, respectivamente. Por lo que, quedó evidenciado que la estimación de los metabolitos secundarios a partir de los modelos de regresión lineal múltiples en ambos períodos del año, pueden ser aplicados debido a que independiente de los diferentes criterios que existen sobre los senderos bioquímicos para las síntesis de estos, sus precursores serán los metabolitos primarios por la dependencia del contenido de nitrógeno, glucosa, fructosa y sacarosa, edad y fenología de planta.]]></p></abstract>
