Por lo tanto, las áreas de planificación deben diseñar sistemas con costo mínimo, que puedan operarse de la manera más económica y que garanticen a los clientes un adecuado nivel de voltaje, con formas de onda sin distorsión y que las interrupciones en el suministro y las pérdidas de energía en las redes, sean mínimas. La reconfiguración óptima es una de las mejores soluciones para alcanzar este objetivo. Generalmente se considera la minimización de pérdidas de energía activa, aunque en las últimas décadas se han desarrollado propuestas de reconfiguración para mejorar la confiabilidad que permite minimizar costos de mantenimiento y garantizar la continuidad del servicio después de fallas. Este artículo proporciona antecedentes generales, revisión de la literatura y análisis comparativo de los métodos utilizados para la asignación de Interruptores en la reconfiguración de redes de distribución para maximizar la confiabilidad y minimizar las pérdidas y los costos, que puede servir de referencia para la orientación de los nuevos investigadores en este campo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Electric distribution networks are incredible and complex structures whose main function is to supply electric power to customers. Therefore, the planning areas must design systems with minimal cost, which can be operated in the most economical way and which guarantee customers an adequate voltage level, with undistorted waveforms and interruptions in supply and energy losses in the networks, be minimal. Optimal reconfiguration is one of the best solutions to achieve this. Generally, the minimization of active energy losses is considered, although during the last few decades, reconfiguration proposals have been developed to improve the reliability that allows minimizing maintenance costs and providing interruption free electricity services as well as the continuity of the service after failures. This article provides general background, review of the literature and comparative analysis of the methods used to assign switches in the reconfiguration of distribution networks to maximize reliability and minimize losses and costs, which can serve as a reference for the orientation of the new researchers in this field.]]></p></abstract>
