<self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2218-36202022000200201&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2218-36202022000200201&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2218-36202022000200201&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Desde que la salud implica el adecuado funcionamiento en todas las áreas de la vida del individuo y no solo la ausencia de la enfermedad ha comenzado el surgimiento de una atención centrada en potenciar aquellos factores positivos o salutogénicos en el individuo con el fin de alcanzar un bienestar mayor, y así una mejor calidad de vida. Entre las principales áreas de aplicación se encuentran las instituciones educativas, en las cuales los principales sujetos de intervención son los estudiantes y familiares, donde el cuerpo de docentes parece ser el que menor atención ha recibido por los investigadores. Este último punto toma mayor relevancia, ya que actualmente este grupo ha sido fuertemente afectado por la crisis sanitaria de COVID-19, donde ya no solo cuentan las exigencias cotidianas del puesto, sino que los malestares de la vida privada y la repentina adaptación a las nuevas modalidades ha podido generar un contexto altamente susceptible para el malestar físico y mental. Por lo anterior el presente trabajo hace una breve propuesta para incrementar factores positivos usando técnicas cognitivo-conductuales y de psicología positiva en una intervención universal-selectiva-indicada para favorecer el funcionamiento psicológico positivo en docentes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Given the fact that being healthy implies the adequate functioning in all areas of an individual's life and not only the absence of disease, attention has begun to focus on enhancing those positive or salutogenic factors in the individual in order to achieve greater wellbeing and thus a better quality of life. Among the main areas of application are educational institutions, in which the main subjects of intervention are students and family members, where the teaching staff seems to be the one that has received the least attention from researchers. This last point takes on greater relevance, since currently this group has been strongly affected by the health crisis of COVID-19, where not only the daily demands of the position count, but also the discomforts of private life and the sudden adaptation to new modalities has been able to generate a highly susceptible context for physical and mental discomfort. Therefore, the present work makes a brief proposal to increase positive factors using cognitive-behavioral and positive psychology techniques in a universal-selective-indicated intervention to favor positive psychological functioning in teachers.]]></p></abstract>
