El sistema se ha diseñado para el estudio y control de la calidad del aire en interiores, mediante la visualización y el registro de las concentraciones de vapor de etanol -como compuesto orgánico volátil (COV)- y oxígeno (O2) presentes en el medio, así como la humedad relativa y la temperatura. El sistema sensor se ajustó y programó para medir concentraciones de vapor de etanol entre 0,17 y 3,43 ppm, con un error relativo de 1.5%; concentraciones de oxígeno entre 0% y 100% respectivamente, con una incertidumbre de ±1%. La humedad relativa en el rango de 0 % a 100 % y la temperatura entre-10 °C y+50 °C, con incertidumbres de ±3,5% y ±1°C respectivamente.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The development, in its first stage, of an electronic sensor system for the detection of gases, vapors and other environmental variables is presented. This system is based on electronic sensors and an Arduino platform comprising a wireless communication module. The sensor system is intended for the study and control of indoor air quality, by visualizing and recording the concentrations of ethanol vapor - such as volatile organic compound (VOC) - and oxygen (O2) present in the environment, as well as the relative humidity and temperature. The system was tuned to measure ethanol vapor concentrations in the range from 0, 17 to 3, 43 ppm with a relative error of 1,5 %; oxygen concentrations from 0 % to 100 %, with an uncertainty of ± 1%. The relative humidity in the range from 0% to 100% and the temperature from -10 °C to +50 °C, with uncertainties of ± 3,5% and ± 1 °C respectively.]]></p></abstract>
