Con el objetivo de incorporar tuétano de res a un producto capilar como ingrediente auxiliar contra la caída de cabello, se realizó un estudio de mercado, para especificar las características del champú para desarrollar. Se elaboraron 25 formulaciones con diferentes porcentajes de tuétano de res; finalmente una de ellas se seleccionó y se analizó determinando sus características fisicoquímicas. Se prepararon dos lotes, uno color rosa aroma a rosas, y el otro amarillo con aroma cítrico, evaluando a través de una prueba sensorial afectiva de aceptación el grado de efectividad del producto, en comparación con el champú base. De un tamaño de muestra de 55, un 54 %, percibió una disminución en la pérdida de cabello, lo que sugiere que el tuétano de res incorporado en un champú, tiene un efecto contra la alopecia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Hair loss is caused by different factors, and it could be cause of emotional stress in people who present it. The objective of incorporating beef marrow into a hair product as an auxiliary ingredient against hair loss, it was decided to carry out a market study out to specify the characteristics of the shampoo to be developed. Twenty-five formulations with different percentages of beef marrow were elaborated, finally one of them was selected and analyzed to determine its physicochemical characteristics. Two batches were made, one pink with a rose aroma and the other yellow with a citrus aroma, to evaluate by means of an affective sensory acceptance test the degree of effectiveness of the product in comparison with the base shampoo. The sample size was 55, 54 % perceived a decrease in hair loss, suggesting that beef marrow incorporated into a shampoo has an effect against alopecia.]]></p></abstract>
