En su reproducción a gran escala se ha considerado su cultivo en fermentación en estado sólido con el uso de tratamiento magnético para incrementar la formación de biomasa. En este trabajo se reporta la cinética microbiana bajo condiciones de estimulación del crecimiento por la acción del campo magnético sobre Trichoderma harzianum Rifai (A-34) en la fermentación en estado sólido. El crecimiento microbiano se describe mediante el uso de un modelo primario. Dos de los modelos más aplicados y menos complejos se compararon utilizando la versión 9.4 (2017) de OriginPro (OriginLab Inc.). Para la validación estadística de los modelos, los valores residuales se estudiaron aplicando el Criterio de información de Akaike (AIC), R2 ajustado, &#967;2 (Chi-cuadrado), Mínimo cuadrado de residuos y Test de Fischer. La normalidad de los residuos se verificó mediante la prueba de Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Se obtuvieron los coeficientes que describen los modelos Gompertz y Logístico para el experimento de control y el desarrollado con el hongo tratado con campos magnéticos en fermentación en estado sólido aireada a 30° C. El modelo logístico ajustó los datos experimentales más adecuadamente, por lo que se selecciona para describir la formación de biomasa.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Trichoderma sp. is used in the ecologic protection of tomato, pepper, cucumber and other crops. An alternative for increasing the efficiency of biological systems is the use of magnetic treatment of cell cultures. In this work, the microbial kinetics under growth stimulation conditions by the action of the magnetic field on Trichoderma harzianum Rifai (A-34) in solid-state fermentation is reported. Microbial growth is described by a primary model. Two of the most applied and least complex models were compared using the OriginPro (OriginLab Inc.) version 9.4 (2017). For the statistical validation of the models, the residual values &#8203;&#8203;were studied applying the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), adjusted R2, &#967;2 (Chi-square), Minimum square of residues and Test of Fischer. The normality of the residues was checked using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Coefficients describing Gompertz and Logistic models were obtained for the control experiment and the one with the fungus treated with magnetic fields in aerated solid fermentation at 30 °C. Logistic model adjusted the experimental data more adequately, so it is selected to describe biomass formation.]]></p></abstract>
