Los esquemas planteados para el desarrollo de una biorrefinería en una industria azucarera cubana consideran la obtención de alcohol de segunda generación (2G) con autoabastecimiento energético del central (I), la obtención de alcohol a partir de Miel-Jugo de los filtros e Hidrolizado de Bagazo (II), la obtención de alcohol de primera generación (1G) y biodiesel de tercera generación (3G) (III), así como la combinación de las dos primeras alternativas con la tercera. Las alternativas II y V son las que logran menor consumo de miel, aunque éstas se ven afectadas por la disminución de miel en el central en un 11% al desviar 144 t/d de jugo de los filtros. Mientras que, la alternativa I y la IV, son las de menor consumo de agua para la dilución de la miel. Por otra parte, al analizar la factibilidad económica de los esquemas propuestos la mejor alternativa desde el punto de vista técnico económico es la III con un VAN de $ 22 843 162, una TIR de 29,5% y un periodo de recuperación de 4 años. Sin embargo, desde el punto de vista de integración de la industria azucarera a una biorrefinería es la (IV) con un VAN de $ 17 088 391,70, una TIR de 34,9 % para un periodo de recuperación de 5,3 años.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The Cuban sugar industry opens possibilities for the development of a biorefinery by the characteristics of its currents and its facilities for obtaining different products, co-products and energy. The schemes proposed for the development of a biorefinery in a Cuban sugar industry consider obtaining second-generation alcohol (2G) with self-supply of energy from the plant (I), obtaining alcohol from Honey-Juice filters and Hydrolyzate from Bagasse (II), the obtaining of first generation alcohol (1G) and third generation biodiesel (3G) (III), as well as the combination of the first two alternatives with the third. Alternatives II and V are those that achieve lower consumption of honey, although these are affected by the reduction of honey in the plant by 11% by diverting 144 t / d of juice from the filters. While, alternative I and IV are those with lower water consumption for the dilution of honey. On the other hand, when analyzing the economic feasibility of the proposed schemes the best alternative from the technical economic point of view is the III with a NPV of $ 22 843 162, an IRR of 29.5% and a recovery period of 4 years . However, from the point of view of integration of the sugar industry to a biorefinery is the (IV) with a NPV of $ 17 088 391.70, an IRR of 34.9% for a recovery period of 5.3 years.]]></p></abstract>
