Acta Médica del Centro, founded in 2007, is the official publication of the Arnaldo Milián Castro University Clinical and Surgical Hospital in the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara Province. The journal is published electronically and adheres to the open access policy. Its mission is to disseminate scientific production in the area of ​​Health Sciences locally, nationally, and internationally to contribute to the training and scientific development of its readers, who are healthcare professionals and all those interested in improving their medical literacy.
