Acta Médica del Centro, founded in 2007, is the official publication of the Arnaldo Milián Castro Provincial Clinical Surgical University Hospital of the City of Santa Clara, Province of Villa Clara. The journal is published in an electronic version and follows the open access policy. Its mission is to disseminate on a local, national and international scale, scientific production in the area of Health Sciences to contribute to the training and scientific updating of its readers who are health professionals and all those interested in increasing your medical culture.

The abbreviation of its title is Acta méd centro, which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, legends and bibliographic references.
