INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS

Scope and policy

The mission of Revista Cubana de Farmacia is to publish articles on pharmacology, related sciences and Cuban pharmacopoeia, dealing with the use of our rich flora in the drug industry and the abundant fauna of our seas and their possible use in the drug manufacture.

The editor directly distributes the journal in printed format to the subscribers (ISSN 0034-7515). Contributions in Spanish, English and Portuguese regardless of their country of origin are accepted.

Once the manuscript is delivered, it can not be submitted to any other journal or source of publication. The authors are entitled to withdraw their article after the formal communication of their decision of not publishing it.

The articles undergo a peer-review process where every article is submitted to two or more peer-reviewers, who issue their verdict. The editorial committee will take the final decision on the publication of the manuscript regardless of the decision made by the peer-reviewers.
