Basic Information

Medical Humanities is the scientific publication of the Center for the development of social and humanistic sciences in Health (CENDECSA).The center is an entity belonging to the system of science and technological innovation of the Republic of Cuba categorized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment as Unit of development and Innovation.
The journal Humanities Medical certified by the system of certification of scientific-technological serials, and registered in the National Register of serials, the mission is to publish the scientific results of the areas of social and humanistic sciences applied to health problems.

It constitutes the representative body of communication for the scientific results obtained by the activity of investigation, innovation and postgraduate corresponding to the management of the entity. The journal uses Open Journals Systems software (OJS) as a platform for management and publishing. The OJS organizes the editorial process and creates conditions for the evaluation and edition of the materials sent, accessed by the following address: http://www.humanidadesmedicas.sld.cu
