Basic Information

Social Development Studies: Cuba and Latin America, founded in 2013, is an open, refereed academic journal, supported by the Open Journal System platform.

Edited by the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO), Cuba Program, it is addressed to researchers, academics and students of Cuban and Latin American social sciences.

It addresses social development in general and more specifically: development issues, governance, international relations, local development, sustainable development and the environment, social and cooperative economy, education and culture, gender, family and childhood.

It publishes original works in all areas related to social development, establishing as the only condition that are the result of research work or documented reflection, and that have a relevant impact on the improvement and development of Cuban and Latin American society.
