^les^aSe exponen las experiencias de Infomed en el trabajo con la comunidad y los beneficios de las actividades con el adulto mayor, tanto en la población como entre los trabajadores de la organización. Se aborda la creación del circulo de abuelos "Las Mariposas"; así como los diferentes proyectos desarrollados como son: “Ganando juventud”, ”Para mi amigo sincero”, “Amor y vida “, “De lo urbano a lo rural”, “Para un príncipe enano” y “La aguja contenta”. El trabajo de una organización laboral con su comunidad es una opción para mejorar la calidad de vida del adulto mayor, sensibilizar a sus trabajadores con las necesidades de las personas que los rodean y explotar las potencialidades que en muchos casos están por descubrir.^len^aThe experiences of Infomed in the community work and the benefits of the activities with the older adult, both in the population and among the workers of the organization, are exposed. The creation of “Las Mariposas" Grandparents' Circle, as well as the different developed projects, such as: “Gaining youth”, ”For my sincere friend”, “Love and life”, “From the city to the rural areas”, “For a little prince” and “The happy needle”, are approached. The work of a working organization with its community is an option to improve the quality of life of the older adult, to sensitise its workers with the needs of the people around them and to exploit potentialities that in many cases are yet to be discovered.
