In this article, two methodological variants for the treatment of mathematical theorems are addressed: the deductive and the reductive ones. Some variants of theorems applied to subjects addressed in mathematics technical careers are also exemplified. Firstly, the theoretical / referential framework of the paper is presented. Secondly, some advantages of using the theorems in the teaching-learning process of Mathematics are given. Afterwards, some illustrative examples regarding the treatment of theorems by means of the reductive and deductive ways.
