Abstract

This paper systematizes and evaluates the results of critical regards focused on the travels of Le Corbusier to Latin America. It identifies the main influences recognized by critical studies to validate the importance of Le Corbusier's contact with regional culture and landscape. Finally, it proposes an alternative approach to these possible influences emphasizing in his personal and professional RELATIONS WITH SOME OF THE MOST REMARKABLE ARTISTS OF BRAZILIAN AVANT-GARDE.
