Abstract

GONCALO FERREIRA, LIBERATO. Social Historical Perspective of the Angolan Conflict: : Regional and International Context. UH [online]. 2016, n.281, pp. 66-74. ISSN 0253-9276.

The present article attempts to, first, provide a view of the evolution and political circumstances of the armed conflict's development in the regional and international context in the 20th century, and, secondly, to address the domestic and external consequences of the conflict's extension. In this sense, the present paper states that the actors in the conflict's internationalization cannot be analyzed in a standardized way, but they should be suited, in a flexible manner, to the national liberation's needs of Angola's Popular Republic.

Keywords : conflict; internationalism; negotiation; Angola.
