Abstract

RODRIGUEZ, PEDRO PABLO. José Martí and his Concept of World Balance. UH [online]. 2016, n.281, pp. 180-188. ISSN 0253-9276.

The present paper introduces Martí's criteria on international balance in terms of its theoretical and conceptual scheme, and shows his intense search to acknowledge a much more inclusive world equity, in which the Latin American interests were regarded, and in which our America would open a path for itself. Likewise, the paper shows the continental and world importance of Cuba's war, and analyzes the understanding of international relations as the search for the balance among the most powerful states in each stage, as well as the patterns established by world order, the law in international relations and other contributions searching for world balance.

Keywords : international relations; search for balance; José Martí; Cuba.
