Abstract

VEGA LOPEZ, Ayeisa. Secondary Victimization of Adolescents in Conflict with the Law. UH [online]. 2017, n.283, pp. 126-136. ISSN 0253-9276.

Adolescents in conflict with the law in Cuba have family backgrounds suggesting that they have previously become victims of the different types of child maltreatment, namely physical abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, neglectful acts such as supervisory neglect, educational neglect, abandonment, etc., and domestic violence. This shows some of the conditions that are conducive to criminal behaviors in complex community environments which also have an effect on these adolescents, and behaviors towards peer groups.

Keywords : Adolescence; Adolescents in Conflict with the Law; Crimes; Victims; Victimizers.
