Abstract

IZQUIERDO QUINTANA, Osnaide. Labor Relations: Theoretical and Methodological Approaches to Examining Labor Processes in the Context of the Updating of the Cuban Economic Model. UH [online]. 2017, n.283, pp. 193-206. ISSN 0253-9276.

"Labor relations" as a theoretical and methodological category have not been dealt with by political and scientific discourses in Cuba since the very first years after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. This is due to the ways labor science and Cuba's socioeconomic model have developed, which has caused other categories to be discussed instead. This paper examines some categories, including "labor relations", with the aim of getting a better insight into new labor processes following socioeconomic and labor adjustments known as the Updating of the Cuban Economic Model, and various actors participating.

Keywords : Labor and Property Management; Collective Bargaining; Labor Relations; Unionism; System of Social and Labor Relations.
