Abstract

The new Constitution of 2019 regulates, by first time in Cuban constitutional history, the guarantee of due process in criminal proceedings. The article studies the origins of due process of law, its historical evolution to present days and performs an analysis of the main guarantees contained in article 95 of the Cuban Constitution.
